With the installation of two top of the line sheeting systems we are now able to cater to the needs of paper merchants, printers and others looking for expertly cut and wrapped sheets. This covers both paper and board, plus with one sheeting machine dedicated to each. We are also able to reset these machines to run other rolls, including film, synthetic materials and label stock.

Today’s high speed offset presses require very accurately cut sheets. More conventional technology has meant that printers had to satisfy themselves with imprecisely cut sheets resulting in unnecessary waste and loss of production to clear up spoiled sheets. As well, loose fibres from badly cut sheets tend to damage printing machines, as well as cause a health hazard.

Outsourcing services also allows out customers to reduce lead times when ordering product from overseas. As well, this gives them the flexibility of changing sheet sizes, as required.

Our sheeting systems use cutting edge twin knife technology for super clean and accurate cuts. Our paper sheeter has four unwind stands, while the board sheeter has two unwind stands.

Our sheeting systems also feature three bar rotary de-curlers, four web guide aligners, four tension controllers and an ink pad marking system. Each sheeting system has a dedicated A3 size label printer to provide large size labels for each pallet of converted sheets.

Superior Sheet Wrapping System

With the purchase and installation of our sheeting systems, we also installed a leading edge wrapping system. This wrapping line incorporates two stretch wrappers and works automatically to first wrap horizontally and then vertically.

These wrappers have been custom built to take heavy loads that require high wrap force. The control system uses leading edge electronics and software for full operator control of the wrapping process. The power through the conveyor system is controlled by proximity switches. Film break detection is part of the over control process.

The new wrapping system compliments our many other wrapping machinery used for working on different materials.
